We've used Writey for stick-on whiteboards and window frosting numerous times and found them to be knowledgeable, helpful and offering great products that are really cost effective. We will definitely be using them again.

Delays, underwhelming assistance, and damage

So I wasn't going to leave a review because I felt I couldn't find enough nice to say, but as I'm being prompted, sure:

- Delays. I ordered the item, it took a very long time for it to be dispatched.
- Support failures. There were no updates around the delay. I sent support a call, was apologised to and told items would be added as compensation for the delay. However, when the board finally shipped, these items were not included (unless they were the single whiteboard marker and the instructions print out?)
- Damage in transit. The tube had "Fragile" tape around the ends but had clearly been run over by a courier's forklift and shoddily retaped. Both ends of the roll were damaged, which resulted in me needing to trim off about 20cm from the board, which is not the side I was after. While I definitely fault the courier here, given the whiteboard is so damageable, extra packaging should have been included to protect the board from damage. One side's damage was due to the courier, but the other side's was due to the freeplay of the board in the tube.
- Creases. The board also has creases from being in a rolled state despite being left out to flatten for a long while. They're minimal, but not what one is after.

We sincerely apologise for the experience you've had thus far. Your satisfaction is incredibly important to us, and we’re committed to making things right. As discussed, we will send you a new Writeyboard to repalce the board that was damaged by the courier in transit and we will have the accessories included as promised. Based on the photos you sent, it seems as though the accessories may have fallen out when the package was damaged. The incompetence of the courier has had poor reflection on us so we will be reviewing our arrangement with them to see how we can avoid similar issues from happening again.

Magnetic boards in schools

We have used the standard Writeyboard in a Secondary school environment for years now with great success.
The new Magnetic boards are a step up. They are smoother and allow the use of magnets on the surface for greater use.
A great alternative over "old school" whiteboards.
